Trace TA98 note In the published book (Thieme 1998), this entry had a second term in parentheses (ductus arteriosus). The absence of a preceding semicolon and presence of parentheses indicated that the term is not a synonym for ligamentum arteriosum, and that this ductus is an inconstant structure. A new entry has been created for this inconstant structure, A12.2.01.221 ductus arteriosus persistens.
